An international humanitarian-aid, non-governmental organisation is seeking an experienced Information Manager with extensive project management experience to join their team in Amsterdam to deliver an information programme and support the strategic plan objectives of the organisation.
As an information manager you will be working closely with the Programme manager and IT to deliver an information management improvement programme in collaboration with specialist consultants. Your responsibilities in this information management job will include being the organisational lead for information management initiatives and the development and delivery of a programme to improve the quality, accessibility and relevance of information through process, tools and policies. You will also be responsible for working closely with IT to determine the best software and applications for information management tools, you will also be planning and coordination project communications and change management including the promotion of good quality and effective project approaches.
To be successful in this position you will have experience of working in a senior information management role and experience of developing information management projects in a large organisation. Previous experience developing and implementing an information management programme from scratch an identifying the business requirements is essential. You will also be an excellent communicator who is able to build relationships in a global company.
