We are looking for adynamic and highly motivated teacher with experience in teaching GCSE and A-Level Art. Experience of the IB Diplomawould also be desirable, but is not essential.This is a full-time position at our Senior School in Voorschoten, starting in September 2016.

We are looking for candidates who will actively contribute to the continued success of our Art department.You should be an outstanding practitioner who is an enthusiastic and inspirational role model for our students.  The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the team, sharing responsibilities, and promoting the subject beyond the classroom through extra-curricular and whole school opportunities.

The Art Department is housed in purpose built studios within an open plan space of four teaching rooms, a  resources room, and a store room.We offer a range of disciplines and the studios areequipped to deliver drawing, painting, printing, sculpture, textiles, design and mixed media work.

The Art department consists of 4 teachers and a team of two technicians.As a team, we aspire to deal with the broad area of Art and Design, incorporating many aspects of study under this.The department has a common approach to teaching across classes, sharing schemes of learning, teaching strategies and common goals. As a result, all students are provided the same opportunities for success.Our results historically have been excellent and we are looking to continue this trend in the future with the department at an exciting point in its development.
