Legalis: Mid-Level Competition Associate (3-5 yrs PQE) - Turkish Qualification is not necessary | Istanbul

Our client, a top tier law firm, is seeking a Mid-Level Competition Associate with a minimum of 3 years to join their Istanbul office.

The practice is responsible for representing corporations in the business and finance sector, partnerships and individuals in a diverse variety of competition law matters in Turkey and across Europe. Additionally, the practice provides global and domestic clients with all aspects of legal services in relation to any competition law issue, including litigation.

Our client is looking for a mid-level competition associate who will be able to contribute to and maintain the development of their market-leading Competition practice in Istanbul. The ideal candidate will have between 3 to 5 years of actual Competition Law experience gained at a private practice firm, including providing general support and advice, advising both defendants and complainants in antitrust investigations, and challenging the decisions of the Competition Board in court.

A Turkish qualification is not necessary; as long as the successful candidate has the relevant academic and professional background he/she can come from Europe, providing that they have been admitted to the bar from their country of origin. An LL.M. in competition law is advantageous. The successful candidate ought to have an excellent command of both written and spoken English.
