Taylor Root: Senior Legal Counsel - Amsterdam

Leading telecoms services provider is seeking to recruit a senior counsel for their headquarter in Amsterdam.

You will be responsible for software licensing, cloud computing, the procurement of new software and content, such as data and video as well as generally advising the business in the areas of data protection, intellectual property law, broadcasting regulations, e-commerce, gaming, marketing and advertising. As the business is entering into an exciting new phase of development, the holder of this position is expected to take on a leadership position within the team as well as on special projects and help the business to grow and achieve its goals.

You have acquired at least seven years post-qualification experience and are ideally UK qualified. You have an excellent academic background as well as having benefitted from excellent law firm training. Furthermore you are an expert in the areas of IT, particularly in relation to software and online technologies and communications. You have superb communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the business both internally and externally. You are a team player with the ability to positively influence your team and the drive to success. European language skills such as French may be advantageous.
