Senior Linux Ops Engineer – Financial Industry
For an international Financial company we are searching for
Senior Ops Engineer to join the DevOps team at one of its offices
in the capital city Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
As Senior Ops Engineer you bear responsibility for the
procedures, security and support of the system. You have a high
sense of responsibility and ownership within the project. Focused
on efficiency. You will be part of a challenging DevOps team for an
international company in an enthusiastic team of about 10
people.
Once every seven weeks you are asked to reserve availability in the
evenings. (Stand-by).
Responsibilities:
Support and monitoring
Automate the installation and integration, where possible adapt
for increasing efficiency
Capacity management of filesystems and used databases
Analysing and tuning of DB performance with great
responsibility/ownership.

Requirements:
HBO Bachelor level
7+ year of experience with Linux RedHat (esp. RedHat 6/7)
Experience with Oracle/NoSQL/Cassandra incl. Performance tuning,
backup/restore scripts
Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Kornshell or
Bash.
Experience met Open source application tools Graphite, Grafana,
Nagios etcetera
Good level of English command both written as verbal. Dutch is a
pre.
