ADREM GROUP: Hospitality Project Manager for Amsterdam Design Agency
A multidisciplinary, international design agency is looking for a Project Manager with 8+ years experience in F&B and Hospitality to join it’s team in Amsterdam. With an entrepreneurial and collaborative approach, the studio creates award winning, innovative experiential design in the retail, hospitality and branding sectors, and the Project Manager will work as part of an international project management team, collaborating closely with top international clients to deliver exciting projects smoothly, on time, and to budget.
The main areas of responsibility for the Project Manager is to maintain a close relationship with design teams; to present concepts with passion and knowledge; to oversee design development and detailing, ensuring this aligns with the client’s expectations; and be on hand to answer queries throughout the implementation and construction phase of a project.
Typical tasks for the Project Manager will include:
- Creating and executing project timelines, incorporating revisions to meet changing requirements
- Liaising and consulting with the client, design team and any third parties, along with any of their project management teams
- Allocating resource to projects and assigning individual responsibilities
- Manage scheduling, budgets and any additional staffing needs
- Managing day to day aspects of a project
- Preparing internal and external reviews and meetings with project team to ensure work is being completed to schedule and to the client’s satisfaction
- Preparing all supporting communications, including meeting minutes and reporting documentation for effective project management
- Ensuring project documents are up to date and filed correctly
The ideal candidate will have international experience in hospitality design, and a thorough understanding of the construction process is a must. A degree in architecture or interior design would be valuable, and someone with around eight years’ experience of design related project management would be best suited to this role. The ability to work in a fast paced environment and a willingness to travel are required. Fluency in other languages would be a highly regarded, as would the ability to read architectural plans and specifications. Proficiency in Autocad and Excel are required, and the ideal Project Manager will be communicative, results driven, energetic and assertive.
