Marketing Manager – Mobile Solutions – Financial Solutions for Mobile /Prepay Giant – Bilthoven, Utrecht, Netherlands

Located in Canada Square, the main purpose of this particular role is as follows;


The industry marketing manager is responsible for developing – and telling – a story about our clients capabilities with regard to Financial Services. He or she creates the industry marketing strategy and plan on behalf of Truphone, coordinates a variety of marketing execution resources to carry out the plan, and ensures that sales resources understand the industry.


Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and leverage an in-depth understanding of customer needs within Financial Services

  • Define the market opportunity for an industry and categorize what form of solution should be promoted (product/service, marketecture, bundle or integrated)

  • Monitor industry trends (e.g. industry regulations, technology trends, macroeconomic conditions, business processes, challenges) and terminology, and act as an industry subject matter expert

  • Write or curate content in the industry vernacular (e.g. playbooks, case studies, blog posts, sales training materials)

  • Understand the demand type within an industry (new concept, new paradigm, established market)

  • Map out the customer buying process; isolate nuances and specific buying patterns

  • Contribute to or build industry-specific buyer personas, or refine existing buyer personas based on industry knowledge

  • Identify target accounts within the industry

  • Build relevant content for industry inbound and outbound marketing activities

  • Collaborate with a formal sales enablement function, industry solution specialists and/or sales operations on a well-defined sales enablement plan

  • Perform competitive analysis to identify opportunities for growth and impending risks

Skills and Experience Required


  • Bachelor’s degree required/ Master’s degree/MBA preferred

  • 7 to 10 years relevant marketing experience

  • Previous product/solution marketing experience

  • Previous sales enablement experience a plus

  • Certified in the Sirius Decisions Product Marketing and Management Model

  • Awareness of Sirius Decisions methods and concepts

  • Strong writing/presentation building skills

  • Able to develop strategies to drive demand and awareness within specific target segments or verticals

  • Can work across business units to connect with sales resources, buyers and channel partners

  • Strong business acumen and communication skills are required

  • Excellent problem solver with a collaborative approach

  • Empathetic to a variety of sales resources, as well as the customer/ prospect base
