In-House – Assistant General Counsel – Technology  – Senior Lawyer – Amsterdam

We are working exclusively with a technology multinational based in Amsterdam.  Our client is a consumer focused business with an established and world class legal team with an opening for a senior Technology lawyer with at least 10 years’ experience  to join the group headquarters.  The role will provide proactive legal advice and counselling to senior management and strategic  support to the leadership team and executives/heads of business units on major commercial transactions including various data initiatives.  You will be a corporate commercial lawyer with a broad background and will have New Media experience and knowledge.  This role will give you the opportunity to work on a range of cross-border commercial deals with key clients in emerging markets.

We are interested in talking to senior highly successful and dynamic technology  lawyers who have a strong grasp of international  laws across Europe and emerging markets, and you must have experience working on procurement, technology licensing,, product, and data privacy matters.

You must be a strong commercial lawyer but also be able to demonstrate that you are able to engage with key stakeholders at a strategic level, that you are a team player and able to integrate into a multi-cultural team.  In-house experience at a senior level is preferred however we will consider strong law firm candidates.
