We’re looking for 2 passionate Head’s of Content to join a world leading B2B Media Owner.


This role will be based in Amsterdam, we are ideally looking for candidates currently in Amsterdam, however can consider relocation.


The Head of Content will be responsible for all aspects of content delivery and communication, including how content is created, curated, produced, tested and measured.


You will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Content Producers and Content Executives, but also working closely with the marketing teams.


You will also work closely with brand leaders and Customer Insight Managers, teams in Asia, Europe and US and the digital team based in Amsterdam to drive forward the content strategy within this global brand.


Ideally you will come from an editorial / journalism background in a B2B environment.


Using your knowledge of the industry, you will help craft all content. But, more importantly, you will be driven by the analysis of content consumption, both online and offline to provide users of our website and customers with relevant engaging content based on their feedback and needs. You will be working with the marketing and digital team to constantly test what content has most resonance with specific niches.


POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


  • Minimum of eight years experience in content creation in B2B markets with proven editorial skills and experience in producing conferences and seminars.


  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism  or similar.


  • Experience in pharma journalism or conference production would be desirable


  • Testing of content performance and analysis of data.


  • High level of commercial awareness and be target and deadline driven


  • The ability to understand what the audience needs to know and how they want to consume it.


  • The ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams made up of internal stakeholders and diverse range of contributors to deliver a shared goal


  • Project management skills to manage editorial schedules and deadlines


  • Familiarity with principles of marketing and the ability to tailor them to audience needs


  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy


  • Strong presentation skills and confidence at public speaking
