VMA GROUP: Senior Communications Director

Large multinational based in West Netherlands is looking for a senior communications director whose prime responsibilities will be managing a large team and integrated communications across multiple business units.

Overall responsibilities:

A fascinating role for an al round communications director whose role will be to manage a team of > 10 senior communications executives (and support staff). Integrated communications is key, incorporating amongst others:

• Employee communications



• Overall all round business division communications support



• Media relations

Close cooperation with marketing communications is needed, also because of expected new product introductions and the need to link these to corporate positioning as well.

Alignment and planning of activities between the various business and business function, related to the overall company strategy, is very important.

Key requirements:

• Very substantial relevant international experience in complex matrix structures; preferably having work experience in multiple countries



• Hands on knowledge of and experience with the different communications areas



• Strategically and operationally strong with proven management skills of rather large teams of senior professionals in an international context



• Experience in working with senior and demanding leadership



• Excellent near native English skills and higher educational level (MsC, MBA)
