About the company:

No experience with Scala yet? No problem, because we are willing


to train and develop you to become Scala developer. With the


guidance from our Team managers, you are going to become a Scala


expert in no time. However if you are having experience in Scala


and want to working 100% with Scala, that is also perfect! We are


head-quartered in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, but we are very


international- oriented. We have now 45 Java/ Scala experts in our


company, in which contain 17 nationalities, therefore our main


language is English. We gather Java/ Scala experts around the world


to join us. We are one of the top consultancy company in The


Netherlands. We are expert in delivering Java/ Scala back-end


development solutions/ integration for our top clients. We was


having our focus on Java tech stack for many years, but then our


Java experts recognized that Scala is trending now, so as a


tech-driven company, we are now developing 70% in Scala and 30%


Java. We work with top banks, insurance and entertainment companies

Responsibility:

• Develop IT solutions for banks, insurance, entertainment
  
  
  companies. We will discuss with you your expertise to see the
  
  
  project that suit you best.



• Perform work on-site at client’s office (most of the time in
  
  
  Rotterdam, Amsterdam, sometimes Utrecht, Amersfoort..) from Monday-
  
  
  Thursday. On Friday you will work in our office, so you have time
  
  
  to socialize with your colleagues. We rotate project every 6-8
  
  
  months so you won’t get bored at your job. However, if you prefer
  
  
  to stay longer, you are more than welcome.



• Regular contact with client regarding the project (discuss
  
  
  solutions) and your team members (of 5-10 developers under Scrum/
  
  
  Agile method)

Requirements:

• At least HBO thinking level



• Experience with Java/ Scala web application (at least 1
  
  
  year)



• Experience with integration, Spring, Hibernate, Agile/ Scrum
  
  
  methodology.



• Innovative mind-set



• Good communication skills



• Knowledge of cutting-edge technologies like MongoDB, NoSQL,
  
  
  ElasticSearch is considered as a plus.



• Fluent in English

Salary and benefits:

• Salary offer up to €38.000 gross annually ( based on 40 hours
  
  
  work per week)
