Dutch Speaking Data Analysis Consultant
£24,000-£27,500 / €30,000-€35,000 + €7,200 annual car allowance

My client is a forward thinking, medium sized global business providing data and consulting solutions to the automotive industry. Their expertise mean that they are the market leader in data and business analysis, enabling automotive businesses to plan and execute business decisions with absolute certainty. Objectively, I would say that the business is analytical and forward thinking – always mapping out new business ideas and delivering key answers to critical financial / business decisions.

I am currently recruiting for a Dutch and English speaking data analysis consultant to work across two client sites in the centre of the BeNeLux region. You must be fluent in both Dutch and English. You should also have an engineering, applied science, statistics, maths or related degree. There is a lot of project based work and work directly with databases, knowledge of SQL is a big plus and knowledge of other databases, such as Excel, is essential.

I am looking for an individual with a keen interest in data analysis and interpretation, with a solid analytical thought process with great presentation skills.

You should have good written and oral communication skills to work well within a team, providing important information to clients in a clear, concise and understandable way.

Responsibilities

• Planning, organising, developing and delivering client-requested reports, delivering projects on time, adhering to client requested specifications.
• Manipulating and querying client databases, working with various pieces of software to ensure deliverance of accurate and high quality client projects.
• Performing market analysis, retail network planning studies and ad-hoc consultancy projects.
• Developing relationships with the client in order to assist in long-term business development.
• Assuming responsibility for accurate and high quality data being utilized on assigned projects.
• Accurately performing application testing functions associated with the development of custom client software.
• Monitoring, updating and maintaining internal software systems.
• Coordinating with individuals or teams to complete analyses tasks and projects on time and with high quality, attend and document project meetings.
• Proactively communicating with management to prioritise other duties as assigned, providing updates and report issues in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Fluent in both Dutch and English
Bachelors degree in engineering, applied science or maths
1-2 years related work experience
Preferred knowledge of basic descriptive statistics and ability to select and apply the right mathematical methods or formulas to solve a problem
Analytically thinking and highly accurate
Written and oral communication skills at a high level in both languages, able to effectively communicate ideas and information
Demonstrated, minimum intermediate, knowledge of MS Excel, as well as preferred intermediate knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint and Access; experience of SQL Server preferred
