Darwin recruitment is looking for a Senior Linux Engineer for a
client in Amsterdam. This is an international organization within
the financial industry. In this role you are responsible for
specifying, development, testing and deployment of the runtime
scripts as well as the roll-back scripts.
The right person for this position is someone with a present-day
vision on IT; someone with a sincere way of working in a team for
achieving best results.
Tasks and responsibilities
- Day to day maintenance, identifying application and system
related problems - Monitoring, administrating, testing and running the
application - Deploy and run the production system, providing 2 nd level
support for your application - Develop, Running performance and acceptance tests, including
High Availability and Disaster Recovery tests together with Dev
Engineer. - Contribute to the realization of all activities in the
backlog - Configure and implementing Monitoring Tooling
24×7 monitoring of the Master Control Room
Requirements
- 5 or more years’ experience in a similar role: Linux
Administrator or Linux/DevOps Engineer - Experience with Cassandra database and Linux stack
TCserver - Also familiarity with Java
- Experience with Continuous Delivery Pipeline; Jenkins, Maven
and Nolio - English or Dutch speaking person
- And you are: creative, innovative, ambitious, result-oriented,
commercial, entrepreneurial and adapt easily to new environments
and technologies
Conditions
- Initial length of contract: 3-6 months
- All-in hourly rate negotiable
