Netherlands: Coordinator Human Resources Officers/Recruitment


The Human Resources Management (HRM) department of MSF-Holland consists of approximately 50 people working in the units Administration & Services, Office HR, Recruitment, Pool Management, Psychosocial Care and Specialists & Field Support. The Coordinator Human Resources Officers will be working in the HR Recruitment unit with three direct reports. The HR Recruitment unit is responsible for the quality, selection and placement of international staff for our medical humanitarian interventions in the field.


MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Developes, proposes and coordinates the unit’s activity plan with the Head of Department, incorporating the necessary human and financial resources and recruitment strategy;

  • Developes, proposes and implements recruitment approaches towards the Dutch labor market and (medical) institutes;

  • Safeguards the quality of the selection process and adapts and maintains the selection tools as required;

  • Safeguards and contributes to improvements in the recruitment administration and use of systems.

In addition to the coordinating responsibilities as described above the Coordinator HRO will be involved, for 50%, with ensuing duties of an operational nature.


PROFILE


We are looking for a candidate with the following characteristics:


• A result-driven, service-minded, dynamic and supportive manager with a ‘can-do’ attitude and excellent problem-solving skills;


• Capable of conceptual and analytical thinking and translating concepts into practice;


• Comfortable in seeking and securing support at various levels in the organisation;


REQUIREMENTS


• A relevant higher degree


• At least four years’ experience in a (middle) management position;


• Experience in operating in a dynamic, international and political work environment and/or matrix organisation;


• Experience with workflow optimization and change management;


• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiating skills;


• Excellent command of the English and Dutch languages with active knowledge of French being an asset.


WE OFFER


• A position in a challenging international environment;


• A contract for one year (with an option for renewal) based on a full-time appointment of 40 hours per week;


• A salary determined on relevant professional experience within a pay range with a maximum of €3786,- gross per month on a full-time basis;


• Other benefits include 30 holidays and a premium free pension.
