Our client, one of the most successful hospitality businesses in the country is expanding and opening 2 exciting, new restaurants in the Amsterdam this summer – the first opening in June and the second in September.

The restaurants are going to be offering amazing, fresh food menus, in a high volume relaxed dining environment BUT using the best ingredients in a no expense spared environment for their guests.

The menu will be heavily orientated around the grill and will be open all day, housing more than 200 covers plus a sun terrace and more.

We require a Head Chef or a VERY strong Sous Chef to join pre-opening and be involved in set up, recruitment and the like who:

• Is looking to take charge of this wonderful site, the restaurant is opening in the Heat of the City and as a result will be very busy and will aim to attract everyone from holiday makers to celebrities


• Has a background working in busy high-end restaurants, gastropubs or the like and ia ble to manage a daily turnover of in excess of 400 covers


• Has ideally managed a large team


• Has a love for the grill and meat


• Ideally (but not a deal breaker) has experience with new openings


• Has a stable background


• Wants to relocate permanently to Amsterdam


• Has got good references


• Is able to work under a company executive chef and liaise with him on menus, recruitment etc etc


• Excellent/Fluent English language – For this role you do not need to be able to speak Dutch.
