The main aim of the Royal Academy of Engineering is to bring together the country’s most eminent engineers from all disciplines to promote excellence in all aspects of engineering.


The Academy’s public engagement programme aims to raise awareness of engineering and its impact on society through its flagship grants scheme, Ingenious, and delivery of a programme of events and activities to encourage debate between engineers and the wider public on issues such as big data, driverless cars, privacy and surveillance and advanced robotics.


We are currently seeking a manager to run our portfolio of public engagement activities. The successful candidate will be a graduate with previous experience in a public engagement related role. A motivated individual, you will have first-class interpersonal and communication skills, be effective working in a team and welcome the opportunity to develop your own programme of activity. You will be comfortable working with technical content and highly organised with excellent time management skills, and the ability to perform well under pressure.
