Our operations also include Liberty Global Business Services and Liberty Global Ventures. We are seeking a dynamic senior media lawyer to join our Content Team, based in Amsterdam. Candidates will have IP, licensing and commercial experience from a top-tier law firm, particularly in the field of television and digital media. The legal team is dual-based in Amsterdam and London and provides a first-rate service supporting the business in all content-related legal matters, with a particular focus on negotiating and drafting distribution deals for linear and VOD content, across multiple platforms and territories, including channel carriage deals. You will be an expert negotiator with excellent drafting skills and technical acumen, and a desire to keep abreast of developments in the market and legal arena, providing internal training when required. As a confident communicator you will seek to build and grow relationships, both within the business and externally, exercising good judgement and a proactive attitude to the continuous development of the team. You will be a self-starter and enjoy relative freedom and independence in the decision- making process, taking a commercial and strategic approach to a wide range of matters.
