For a leading publisher in the Netherlands, we are looking for


developers. They have multiple high performance websites, which


need needs to be enhanced and improved all the time. We are looking


for a Python/Django who has the technical background to get this

Responsibilities

As a Python/Django developer you will be responsible for:

• Debugging production problems



• Implementation and driving changes



• Ensure top quality and on-time deliverables

Skills

As a Python/Django developer you will possess the following


skills:

• Bachelor’s degree.



• Experience with high traffic.



• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with frameworks like Spring,
  
  
  Struts, Django, Flask and Symfony.



• Experience with modern OO languages like python or java.



• Experience with HTML, CSS, Javascript and javascript
  
  
  frameworks.



• Knowledge of operating systems (like unix, linux) and databases
  
  
  like MySQL.



• Experience with troubleshooting performance issues in a Java /
  
  
  Tomcat environment, Python environment and/or CMS systems like
  
  
  Drupal/ Escenic.



• Knowledge of critical / large scale websites.



• Experience with SCRUM/ agile methods.



• Proficient English speaker, both written and verbal. Proficient
  
  
  Dutch is a plus.



• Some knowledge/experience of the following is a plus.



• Tomcat and Maven.



• Unit test framework like junit, nose.



• XSLT, XML and JSON.



• Linux command line skills, experience with python, perl and
  
  
  shell scripting.
