Structuring and negotiating of distribution deals for linear and VOD content

We are working with a leading Nasdaq listed company with European headquarters in Amsterdam.  They are a consumer focused business with pan-European operations and  a significant presence in all of the major European markets.   They have an established legal team with an opening for a senior media content lawyer with at least 7 years’ post qualification experience to join the European team.  The role will support the content team on the structuring and negotiating of distribution deals for linear and VOD content, across multiple transmission means / platforms in multiple territories. You will be involved in all legal aspects of content and programming transactions at group level and ensuring consistency across the various jurisdictions the company operate in. 

We are interested in talking to highly successful and dynamic Dutch or German qualified lawyers in London or Amsterdam.     You must be a strong media content lawyer with at least 3-4 years carriage and International Cable/Broadcasting experience. You must also be able to demonstrate that you are able to engage with key stakeholders at a strategic level, that you are a team player and you are able to integrate into a multi-cultural team.  We are open to candidates from either a law firm or in-house environment, although in-house experience is preferred.
