In-House – Senior Technology  Legal Counsel – Amsterdam

We are working with a technology multinational based in Amsterdam.  Our client is a consumer focused business with an established and world class legal team with an opening for a senior legal counsel with at least 7-8 years’ experience  within Commercial IT to join the group headquarters.

 The role will provide proactive legal advice and counselling to senior management on major commercial transactions.  You will be a corporate commercial lawyer with a broad background and will have New Media experience and knowledge.  This role will give you the opportunity to work on a range of cross-border commercial deals with key clients in emerging markets. 

We are interested in talking to highly successful and dynamic technology  lawyers who have a strong grasp of international  laws across Europe, and you must have experience working on software, technology and digital services and Intellectual Property. We are interested in speaking to lawyers who are both in-house and within private practice and looking to make their first move in-house.

The successful candidate will take handle a broad range of commercial contracts/transactions including in particular: 



•    The procurement of the design, development, implementation and maintenance of bespoke           software and associated hardware;  



•    Software licensing (in and out); 



•    The procurement and supply of cloud, SaaS, IaaS and Apps; 



•    The procurement of content (video, voice and data); 



•    Content (video, voice and data) and mobile financial services supply contracts
