Senior Legal Counsel – Delft, the Netherlands

On behalf of our multinational client, we are looking for a Senior Legal Counsel, to be based in Delft, the Netherlands.

In this position, you will advise on matters relating to franchising and the expansion of the company worldwide. The role will involve, among others, drafting and negotiating a wide range of agreements with the company franchisees worldwide, leading pre- and post-contractual disclosure/franchisor registration projects and advising the business on a variety of legal issues incl. franchising, distribution, competition law, tax, IP and corporate governance.

You have a degree in law and 7+ years of post-qualification experience, preferably with a multinational corporation or leading law firm. Excellent knowledge of licensing, IP and general commercial contract law is a key requirement and experience with franchising and the retail business would be a great advantage.

You are a team player and enthusiastic self-starter who can work independently, interdependently and takes responsibility when needed.

Fluency in English (written and spoken) is a necessity.
