Communications Director in a highly technical environment. Within this role extensive management experience is required. The ideal role holder will have experience to act as a trusted advisor internally, and is capable to manage the corporate communications team according to the newly formed strategy.

For our client we are looking for an experienced Communications Manager. The ideal role holder will be part of the management team and head a team of 10 people with a diverse background. Furthermore you are co-responsible for the communications team, strategy and long term vision, reporting into the Communications Director. The client operates in a highly technical environment, so you need to be able to understand technological issues quickly.

Key responsibilities of the role:

• Co-responsibility for the communications team, heading up a team of 10 professionals



• Act as a business advisor internally in a firm and direct way



• Be the trusted advisor for the management team internally



• Motivate, steer and assess the team members, including some HR responsibilities

Key requirements:

• Substantial management experience



• Extensive knowledge of broader communications field



• Quickly adapting in highly technological environment



• Give clear, concise and constructive criticism internally to enhance performance
