Front-End Engineer

Requirements:

Our client is keen to meet individuals who come with a mix of technologies, below is what they use. You’ll be an authority in some but you are not expected to know them all.

* JavaScript
* HML5 and CSS3
* C# ASP.NET MVC 4.0 or above
* SASS / LESS
* Bootstrap
* Grunt / Gulp
* GIT
* Selenium, NUnit 2.6 or above (3 preferred), mocha
* Dependency Injection
* Jquery, Knockout.js, Angular.js
* Data-access (Sql)
* Cookie, session management

Pluses:

* NoSql ( Cassandra / Couchbase etc.)
* Memcached / Redis

You:

• Are you a website authority?


• Do you favor Angular over Knockout?


• Do you SASS or LESS?


• Can you craft a new Bootstrap site from scratch without Googling?

Role and responsibilities:

Our client is looking for top-front-end talent.

• They want you to know your <articles> from your <sections>,


• When it is right to AJAX,


• And when to send data directly from the server.


• Performance is absolutely key; both on the browser, and the network. You should be comfortable with CDN’s, you should know when to uglify, when to browsify.
