Taylor Root: AMSTERDAM - Corporate Lawyer


We are currently working with the Amsterdam office of a leading international firm. They are ideally looking for someone to join their busy Corporate team.


BACKGROUND:


With offices spanning Europe, the Middle East, Africa, Asia and the Americas this market leading firm has a phenomenal reputation for its Corporate expertise both globally and in Amsterdam. They are an established name in the Dutch market and boast a number of high regarded Lawyers amongst their ranks. They are currently looking to add a common law/UK qualified lawyer to their already strong team.


ROLE: this role will be broad and cover a broad mix of corporate work including public and private M&A, joint ventures and restructurings. They work on a range of domestic and multi-national transactions and often assist on some of the region’s most significant and ground breaking deals. Training and career development are valued by the firm and all Lawyers are encouraged to build strong relationships within the firm’s international network and with its clients.


CANDIDATE: The PQE level for this role may vary depending on each individual experience/skill set. NQ and 5 years’ post-qualification experience are welcome to apply. The majority of major deals are in English so whilst speaking Dutch would be ideal, it is by no means essential.


It is key that you have excellent corporate experience across very complex and high value M&A and private equity in particular. Your experience should ideally have been gained at a US or a City firm.
