Netherlands: Finance & Admin Assistant, Part Time (40%), 12 month contract


The Finance & Admin Assistant position is an important role that sits at the heart of the GAIN Netherlands office. The Finance & Admin Assistant will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling travel expenses, perform the monthly close process and produce financial reports. In addition the Finance & Admin Assistant will provide the office with general administrative support ranging from travel arrangements and ordering office supplies, to organising the logistics of high level meetings and tracking supplier contracts in the internal system.


The ideal candidate must have previous financial experience, particularly processing invoices and handling travel expenses. Further, they should have excellent accuracy with close attention to detail and strong communication skills. The Finance & Admin Assistant will ideally have previous experience of working in a fast paced environment and will have the ability to work well under pressure. Fluency in English is essential.
