Netherlands: Tender Coordinator
Background
Baker Tilly Berk N.V. is an independent member of Baker Tilly International Ltd. which operates in an international accountancy and tax network. In this network an international Government and Not for Profit committee is founded. This committee is chaired by Baker Tilly Berk in The Netherlands.
This committee responds to audit related invitations for tenders issued by global donor organisations, not-for-profit organizations and non-governmental organizations. Baker Tilly Berk also responds on national audit related tenders.
Job Purpose
As a Tender Coordinator you support the tender team. You will report to the Tender Manager. You are responsible for the coordination, process monitoring and writing for the national and international tenders.
Responsibilities
- Supervise procurement processes and monitor deadlines;
- Coordinate the timely receipt of tender related documents. In the case of an international tender, you coordinate with the various member firms of the Baker Tilly International network (through Europe and worldwide);
- Coordinate the coherence between relevant internal and external stakeholders;
- Monitoring the various tender platforms (TED, Assortis e.g.) for relevant new tenders;
- Daily support to the Tender Manager with writing (national and international) tenders and proposals;
- Able to write texts where our services are reflected in a refreshing way.
- Work proactively enabling a smooth tender process.
Requirements – qualification, experience and abilities
We are looking for a motivated, hard-working colleague who gets energy by successfully responding to invitations to tender. You can work with deadlines and you perform well under pressure and have excellent project management skills. Because of your work ethics, colleagues can rely on you. You are a part of the success.
Our setting is hectic and complex, where you should be able to switch easily between various activities. It is necessary to work accurate with deadlines, being confident, flexible and to keep your head cool in stressful situations.
For this job you need:
- Knowledge of tender procedures with proven track record of having operated in an international business environment (accountancy or global donor organizations is an advantage);
- Experienced in text writing and proven ability to tenders;
- Strong communication skills and able to convey understanding and earn respect across the international member firms of the Baker Tilly network.
- Experienced in managing complex (international) tenders;
- Bachelor degree;
- Excellent knowledge of English and Dutch (verbally and written). Knowledge of French is an advantage;
- Willingness to travel (especially to Brussels) for participation in international tenders teams;
- You are familiar with various online tender platforms.
