For our head office in Amsterdam, HealthNet is looking for an experienced Operations Manager who will provide leadership to HealthNet programs world-wide ensuring they are in line with the overall strategy of HealthNet and ensuring high quality operational implementation.

Local change agents than apply the sometimes hidden local resources and start a community dynamic that reunites people, strengthens social bonds, and restores healing relationships. HealthNet does this successfully on the basis of cultural knowledge and therapeutic skills. HealthNet studies the efficacy and efficiency of its work and publishes the results of its approach in peer-reviewed journals. We currently implement projects in countries such as Afghanistan, Burundi, DR Congo and South Sudan, which are being supported by the head office in Amsterdam.


Your team :


You report to the Executive Director and lead the head office operational department. The composition of the department is being evaluated as part of an agency-wide revision of management structures and will be finalized at the end of 2016.


Your responsibilities and tasks:


HealthNet is looking for an experienced Operations Manager that is able to provide leadership and oversee global operations, policies and systems.


· Provide leadership in the development, review and monitoring of strategies and plans for HealthNet Country programs;


· Ensure clear management, reporting and organizational structures for the programs;


· Develop, implement and ensure compliance with the global operational policies, procedures, systems and annual plan;


· Lead and support your team. Ensure high quality recruitment, planning, on-going management, coaching, and annual performance target setting and review;


· Develop and maintain good relationships with major (government/private) donors and ensuring that donor requirements are met;


· Assist department staff and program managers in budgeting, ensuring the monitoring of budgets and actual expenses by program managers. Ensure high standards of accountability HealthNet financial policies and procedures, including follow up;


· Visit projects regularly and frequently in order to have interaction with Country Managers and staff, beneficiaries and communities, and government counterparts.


You have/ are:


· A master’s degree in a relevant field such as organisational development or an MBA;


· Minimum 10 years relevant work experience in a complex environment with multiple donors;


· Strong analytical skills. A demonstrated ability in strategic planning, organisation and oversight of complex issues


· Strong interpersonal, management and leadership skills


· Proven experience in building and maintaining effective relationships


· Strong networking skills


· Excellent speaking and writing skills in English (French is an advantage);


· Willing to travel to the various project countries

Global Mobility Coordinator (In-house) 32-40 hours a week




Global Mobility Coordinator (32 – 40 hours a week, contract till end of December 2016)


Role Summary


Based in Schiphol, you will coordinate and provide support implementing global mobility policies and processes for the businesses Within this role you will support a wide variety of globally mobile employees in and out of the Netherlands, including expatriates, direct localizations, foreign local hires, expatriate localizations, commuters and short-term assignees.
The position will work closely with other HR functions (e.g. payroll, compensation & benefits), the global mobility coordinators in other countries and the company’s own regional global mobility teams.


Duties & Responsibilities


Main local point of contact and guide for all Dutch inbound and outbound assignees;


Manage suppliers and services related to relocation, immigration, housing, settling-in services, shipment, income tax, etc.;


Regular contact and support to both employee and family throughout duration of the assignment;


Coordinate with regional mobility teams to implement and follow up on procedures and policies concerning global mobility;


Provide input and support on tax, payroll and benefit issues;


Keeping track of all compensation paid to or on behalf of the employee;


Taking the required actions to meet the conditions in the Horizontal Monitoring process;


Consult with accounting on all entries related to assignments;


Remain current on relevant changes to Dutch legislation, e.g. income tax, immigration, benefits that applies to the globally mobile employee population;


Advise and council assignees on global mobility processes;.


Participate in broader mobility projects in EMEA on an ad-hoc basis; and,


Represent the company in front of local external committees/groups/authorities for the global mobility area. Keep informed of local changes and best practices.


Required Qualifications, Skills and Experience


  • Higher education or related experience

  • At least 3+ years of experience in mobility services or at least 3+ years in a relevant HR environment

  • Understanding of issues surrounding expatriate assignments

  • Working knowledge of immigration procedures & Dutch income taxes and tax equalization process

  • Knowledge of Dutch labor law and benefits system legislation

  • Fluent written & spoken English and Dutch

  • Strong communication skills as required to work with all levels in the organization

  • Organizational skills and ability to handle multiple priorities

Job Purpose

The Internship The Legal Section of the CICC monitors the International Criminal Court in building a credible functioning justice system and deliver on the promise of a fair, effective and independent Court. The Legal Intern will assist the Senior Legal Officer and Advocacy Fellow, along with other staff as relevant, with legal and advocacy work.


Responsibilities may include:


  • Monitoring developments related to the ICC and international justice;

  • Assist with legal research projects on varied issues related to the ICC;

  • Advanced undergraduate or graduate student working towards a degree in Law, International Relations, or related field; Substantial coursework in International Law or Human Rights is required;

  • Previous internships in these fields are highly desirable;

  • Knowledge of and interest in the ICC and international law is required;

  • Excellent research and writing skills;

  • Previous experience with taking notes and minutes of meetings is highly desirable;

  • Ability to work independently and within the constraints of tight deadlines;

  • Available on a full-time basis for a minimum of three months. We have a preference for an intern who can stay until at least 25 November.

The Internship
The Programme Intern will assist the Director of Programs and the Programme Assistant, along with other staff as relevant, with a variety of administrative and substantive tasks related to various advocacy campaigns of the Coalition.


In this specific time of the year, the organization coordinates the activities of NGOs during the annual session of the Assembly of States Parties (ASP), which will take place from 16 until 24 November 2016 in The Hague. The ASP takes vital decisions on the functioning of the ICC. With hundreds of representatives, NGOs make up the largest delegation at the ASP. The Programme Intern will assist with the preparations of the upcoming session of the ASP.

  • Providing support with preparing documents, letter writing and editing, and translations;

  • Conducting membership outreach, including updating the membership database;

  • Assisting with communication to the Coalition’s members and partners;

  • Updating and maintaining the contacts database;

  • Monitoring developments related to the ICC and international justice in the region;

The Coalition is looking for a Communications and Online Media Intern for its international secretariat in The Hague, the Netherlands, to assist with a range of media and public-information projects.

Responsibilities
* Defines site objectives by analyzing user requirements; envisioning system features and functionality.

* Integrates applications by designing database architecture and server scripting; studying and establishing connectivity with network systems, search engines, and information servers.
* Completes applications development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities; contributing to team meetings; troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
* Supports users by developing documentation and assistance tools.


My client is using a custom build framework, so the developer needs to need be a strong PHP developer who is adaptable to frameworks and able to use new tools.

Your team :


You are part of the head office operational department, led by an Operations Manager (OM) to whom you report. You will work closely with HQ colleagues from various departments and Program Managers in the project countries.


Your responsibilities and tasks:


HealthNetTPO is looking for a Project Management Assistant that is able to provide administrative support and effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders. In addition you will also be responsible for coordinating project meetings and maintaining documentation. Your main tasks are:


· Monitor the project cycle, especially signalling deadlines and advising the project management (OD and/or in the field) for required actions;


· Support in the preparation and submitting of proposals and reports;


· Prepare/draft relevant communications with third parties (e.g donors);


· Be informed and advise the OM and/or the project management in the field about procedural issues from donors with regards to proposals and reports;


· Advise the project management in the field about internal procedures as laid down in the management manual;


· Process and monitor procurement orders for projects;


· Keep and maintain the relevant project files;


· Keep/monitor the OM’s agenda.


You have/ are:


· Completed higher vocational studies or equivalent level through work experience;


· Minimum 3 years relevant work experience;


· Excellent project management skills;


· Ability to set priorities, organize and plan activities and resources to achieve results;


· Contributes to teamwork to achieve 6-monthly renewed Key Performance Indicators


· Excellent speaking and writing skills in English (French is an advantage);


· Flexible attitude and pro-active;


· Willing to travel to the various project countries
