Relocation Consultant (32 hours Monday to Thursday)

Our client is a very established niche relocation company based in central Netherlands is seeking a Relocations Consultant to join their small team.

The company assists Expats employed by Netherlands based multinational companies, with relocations and destination services. This involves applying for entry visa, residence and work permits, sourcing suitable housing, requesting the 30% arrangements and settling in services.

The successful candidate will work 32 hours Monday to Thursday and the role will be a mix of general office based tasks as well as destination services appointments all over the Netherlands, therefore a full driving license is required. You will be liaising with clients both by email and by telephone in Dutch and English and provide information on procedures and documents required. You will ensure accurate records keeping and progress monitoring procedures with the essential corresponding follow-up. After a thorough training period, the right candidate will also carry out work in the field, which involves guiding the expatriates to register with the various authorities.

Once you are proficient in the role there is the opportunity to do some work from home.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years relevant work experience, be flexible, well presented, service-oriented, stress-resistant and be able to multi-task. If you have previously lived / worked abroad as an expat this will be a definite advantage. You should also be proactive, supportive, conscientious and honest.
